a few notes:
God is good.
i am still in lithuania.
i will be back in the states soon.
i plan to write all summer long.
this blog shall be resurrected and revamped
during that summer of writing.
for now, all i really wanted to say is that plums were on sale today in Iki, my friendly lithuanian grocery/market, and it made me think of this william carlos williams poem titled "this is just to say":
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
have a sweet, plums-on-sale sort of friday.
